Youth & Teen Design Masterclass (Ages 11–16)

Transform raw talent into commercial execution. Led by professional multi-disciplinary artist Sarah Yates, this high-impact 5-week accelerator takes ambitious young creators behind the scenes of professional design, street art, and digital illustration. This is not a hobbyist craft class, it’s a high-level masterclass built to introduce real creative focus preparing for higher studies or knowledge in visual arts . Commencing August 3rd, students get weekly live instruction and 24/7 access to a private Discord hub for direct professional mentorship and critiques.

Weekly Curriculum Breakdown (Commencing August 3rd)

• Week 1 (Aug 3rd): Brand Identity & The Power of the Mark . Learndesign thinking by building a standout, vector-ready or traditionally designed personal logo from scratch, discovery, research and strategy.

• Week 2 (Aug 10th): From Sketch to Street.  The Mechanics of Murals . Learn how to scale sketches &  graphics into large-scale spatial artwork using professional proportion and stencil techniques.

• Week 3 (Aug 17th): Hybrid Illustration — Bridging Digital & Traditional — Forge a signature artistic style by seamlessly merging tactile mediums like inks and textures with modern digital workflows.

• Week 4 (Aug 24th): The Digital Footprint & Professional Portfolio.  Master the art of presenting work online and curating a clean, professional portfolio that commands attention – Segment 1 – building artwork around a creative project brief.

• Week 5 (Aug 31st):  Accessing Art Opportunities for youth, Presenting art, Approaching clients and brands, Social media & Online networking with the segment working on part 2 of a creative project brief .
