Faunagraphic has never had a workshop same as the last, and is always introducing new activities that tie in with graffiti and spray can art.

Examples include: Sketchbook sessions, marker pen murals and art, fabric painting onto trucker caps and shoes, t-shirt design workshops and graffiti letter style sessions for those who are more understanding of graffiti. All workshops vary and can be arranged to meet your group’s specific requirements.

Below is a basic overview of some of Faunagraphic’s Workshops:

• GRAFFITI WORKSHOP
  
  These workshops are for groups which want to learn about traditional graffiti art letters and styles, the history of graffiti, the variety of styles which people from all over the world create. Linking in the Hip Hop culture and breakdancing workshops is popular and effective if working on similar projects. 
  
  Progression onto practising designs with spraycan, learning can control, fading techniques, using different nozzles to create different lines and effects and much more
  These workshops can form into projects where the group may be creating a mural, or artwork to take home.Designing names, logos, and labels in Graffiti styles.
  

 

• STENCIL ART COURSES AND WORKSHOPS
  
  Similar to the Graffiti workshops, apart from looking at stencils and how they are used by artists, examples and interesting videos are available to show.  Faunagraphic can create stencils of the groups photographs, portraits or images before the workshop. So they can get straight to learning and creating art with their pre-made ready cut stencils which the participants can keep. Designs can also be transfered onto clothing and spray paint doesn't have to be the only medium. Courses in complicated stencil art, using up to seven layers in a image, for intermediate artists or keen beginner
  

• MURAL PAINTING COURSES & WORKSHOPS
  
  
  Murals can be designed by Faunagraphic, then drawn onto the wall large scale for participants to fill in all the imagery, or Participants can plan the design themselves with tuition and guidance from Faunagraphic as a planning session before the mural workshop
  
  Mural painting workshops can help groups to understand the important of sharing ideas and working together to pull their designs together to create the finished image.

• If the mural is already planned, It is still advisable to give 30 minutes to understanding spray paint techniques and then planning the development of the wall and sketching out the design onto the surface.
  
  Murals can involve using a mixture of materials, spray paint, paint pens, acrylics, emulsions, stencils, graphic transfers, and sometimes materials which can be glued onto the surface to create a touch friendly piece of artwork. Murals can be themed - Organic, Dance, nature, Animals and The Zoo, Murals dedicated to citys, Holidays.
  
  Materials are included in a price estimate, Mural workshops are suitable for all ages
  For very young students, who find it difficult to press and hold the spray can, we have a spraypaint pull handle attachment which helps them use the can easier.
  
  All safety equipment is provided, including extractor fans for indoor murals,              ground sheets, dust covers, respirator masks and clothing protection.
  
  

•  LINO PRINTING COURSES & WORKSHOPS
  
  Participants will learn the process of lino block printing, 
  a relief printing process. Images of animal and/or plant forms, or characters will be developed from your imagination and designs with the use of photos to create an edition of prints. Hand-coloring, and using more than one color for a lino print.
  
  All materials supplied. Suitable for ages 10yrs - adults.

 

 

 

• PLUSH DOLL WORKSHOPS
  
  Learn to make your own plush dolls, keychains, pins, and other plush
  products in a 3-hour workshop that will teach basic plushie design and
  construction, based on a drawing of a creature from your imagination!
  
  Workshop enrollees will have at least one finished product to take home,
  as well as creative ideas for more plushie items.
  
  Basic sewing involved, materials included in the workshop.
   

• PARTIES, SMALL GROUPS AND  INDIVIDUAL TUTORING
• 
  Private workshops can be held Faunagraphic Studio's in Sheffield, bookings can be party groups, small groups from 2-4 participants, and also one-to-one tutoring for any of the above workshops. Materials will be included with quoted price.
  
  Every participant takes home artwork which has been created during the workshop.
